These are some of my favorite email campaigns that I designed during my time at Southern Fried Cotton.
The first email I chose to feature is from our Labor Day promotion, shortly after I was given the opportunity to design and send the email blasts.
The next (pink!) email was the blast we sent introducing the tees that support Breast Cancer Awareness. Each year, the team designs a new shirt to donate the proceeds to a local organization that provides free mammograms to those in need!
The following email blast was one that I felt really encompassed the brand with its gritty, outdoorsy feel, featuring one of the fleece pieces we were carrying at the time.
The final email I chose to show was one with an oyster theme that went out to subscribers when oyster season rolled around in late fall. We had a few shirts that featured oysters on it and linked to a collection of them within Shopify and Mailchimp. I just really liked the look and feel of this one!
Our wedding. I know it’s a strange thing to put in your professional portfolio, but it has been one of the biggest projects I’ve taken on thus far. It was important to me to have a cohesive feel in every aspect of our day, so I pretty much branded the entire thing from head to toe.
The more design oriented things were our invitation suite, which featured my calligraphy in a light and airy design. I also made all of the signs for the wedding, laying them all out by hand on rustic wood and using white acrylic paint.
Light.
Romantic.
Simple.
And natural.
This was my wedding vision.

I love my school. Clearly.
These two pieces respectively were my graduation announcement and a photography piece featuring downtown Clemson, which I chose to focus on the Clemson brand represented in many different lights as you venture away from campus. This piece was taken using the Adobe Lightroom mobile app on my iPhone and edited using Lightroom CC on my desktop.

This is an invitation suite designed for a beautiful couple near and dear to my heart that got married in Crested Butte, CO.
Simple.
Natural beauty.
And they were letterpressed- which only adds to their natural beauty.

The last photo was done by creating smart objects on an existing photograph in Photoshop to give a proof to the clients. Design was built using Adobe Illustrator and ProCreate for iPad Pro.
Godfrey is some of my favorite work I did while taking classes in this building. Godfrey is the home of Clemson’s Graphic Communications program and where I spent majority of my time in college.
The first photo is one I took on my iPhone using the Adobe Lightroom app during my digital media class. We did a lot of mobile photography, mobile videography, graphic design and branding in that class.
The following piece was for a class project where we learned and applied principles for responsive web design. For my project, I designed what could be the beginnings of an online portfolio! We also dabbled in coding during the web part of that class.
The last piece is a poster that I designed when we partnered up with an organization on campus called CoCreate. They host a lot of creative seminars to further students’ creativity. Every student is welcome to these events, not just the ones in creative majors, which I felt made it even more special. This poster was for an event where Aaron Draplin came to campus for a Keynote presentation about his life and design story. The event turned out incredible and our class did all of the different marketing collateral in order to spread the word around campus.
During my internship with Bailey Brand Consulting, the team there had just finished doing a rebrand for a new client, Yuengling. Soon after, Yuengling wanted to introduce a new beer. During my time there, they were in the brainstorming/sketching/mockup stage, so I was able to help come up with some ideas with them. They hadn’t even settled on a name for the new beer yet, hence the major differences in the sketches. We wanted to show them a few different names, as well as feels for the packaging. I thoroughly enjoyed the process and love what they ended up coming up with!
Chip and Joanna Gaines and the entire Magnolia Brand is a huge inspiration to me. I admire them and their business wholeheartedly. I feel like their brand really represents who they are and what they’re all about.
I took a trip there for spring break my senior year and couldn’t help but be inspired. These were some photos I took on my camera while I was there, as well as two pieces I created in the ProCreate app for iPad.
This is another piece I really enjoyed working on during my time at Bailey Brand Consulting. Sovaro, an upscale cooler and drinkware brand by Suncast, had a booth at the Hampton Classic Horse Show where they wanted to sell an experience as well as introduce their products to a sample of their target market. I came up with the moodboards for each theme they wanted represented throughout the event and the project was completed after my summer there!
I loved playing with the constant pieces they were going to have in the booth and adding different accessories to change the mood and feel.
This is another piece I am very proud of from my time at Bailey Brand Consulting. The designer I worked with that summer asked me what I wanted to get better at and I replied, “Photoshop.”
To that point, I felt that I knew Illustrator and InDesign pretty well, but I hadn’t done any extensive work in Photoshop! She taught me the basics as well as some things that she knew I’d need to know down the road.
This piece used a lot of different techniques including smart objects, blend modes, lots of layer masks, shadows, and color correction. Each element in the picture was manually bought in using stock photography and pieced together to create this print ad for Twining’s.
A tribute to Lee Hall, where I spent the first year of my undergraduate career as an Architecture major. Eventually I changed courses to a Graphic Communications major because I felt it gave me more industry experience and a more well-rounded degree with which I could go into and design field I felt the most fit. All in all I love to design.
The first project is the elevations and floor plans of the Esherick House designed by Louis Kahn. One aspect of the house I was particularly drawn to was the large scale windows seen from any point in the main living area that brought the outside in.
The second project pictured was a study on light. I love details and how they make something whole, so I played with cutting details into walls that would face the sun for a playful shadow and light experience.
A lace and blue watercolor wedding suite that included the invitations, programs, and labels for their favors- coffee! Another beautiful venue with a romantic and vintage feel.

This suite started with the engagement party invitation and then developed into the save the dates and then finally the invitations! It was a JOY to work with this bride and her maid of honor as they prepared for the big day.
It was a simple but beautiful Maine wedding and the inspiration came from the smallest of details- the plates for the place setting.
The Save the Date photo was made in Photoshop with Smart Objects.
